Agatha and the Baker from The Grand Budapest Hotel: Sugar & Cloth
Are you guys excited for Halloween? Teddy and I are going to a costume party this weekend, but there’s a costume contest, so we’re keeping our costumes top secret. I’m not sure if we’ll win, but I’m excited that everyone will (hopefully) be able to tell what I am this year. Usually I pick a really random costume idea, and it’s hard to tell what I’m dressed as. This year I decided to do some costume research ahead of time. If you’re looking for some last minute inspiration, here are some of my favorite costume ideas:
Ned and Chuck from Pushing Daisies: Sugar & Cloth
I honestly can’t decide which couples’ costume is cuter: Agatha and the Baker from The Grand Budapest Hotel or Ned and Chuck from Pushing Daisies. I think if I had to choose one to wear to a Halloween party tomorrow, I’d go with Ned and Chuck, just because Pushing Daisies is one of my favorite shows.
Buttercup and the Man in Black from The Princess Bride: A Beautiful Mess
Since The Princess Bride is my all-time favorite movie, I have to add this Buttercup/ Man-in-Black couples’ costume. It’d be a great excuse to quote movie lines to each other all night. “Inconceivable!”
Peter Pan and the Lost Boys: A Beautiful Mess
Peter Pan and the Lost Boys is an awesome family or group costume idea!
Bon Bon Candy: Oh Happy Day
Playing dress up was one of my favorite games growing up, so I save my favorite kid costume ideas for when I have kiddos of my own. This bon bon candy costume is AMAZING.
DIY Birthday Cake Costume: The Effortless Chic
Related: I CANNOT get over how cute this birthday cake costume is.
Cupcake Pet Costume: Lovely Indeed
There’s no way Tonks would wear a costume for more than 30 seconds, but this cupcake pet costume would be really fun if your pet’s more patient than mine.
What are your plans for Halloween? I’m bringing a dessert for the Halloween party, and I still haven’t decided what I’m doing yet. #indecisive I’m thinking something chocolaty with peanut butter. Or maybe something chocolaty with red wine? We’ll see what I end up making!
